Tesla Cybertruck Release Date and Review
On November 21, 2019, in a special event in Los Angelas, Tesla had revealed its Cybertruck. A very unique vehicle by appearance and its prodigious functions and design. At its release, it will sell at $39,000 which is much less than what people had anticipated. The most expensive versions coming at “late 2021” will start at $49,000 and $69,000 while two more expensive versions with more motors and larger battery packs will be available in “late 2022.”
The Cybertruck is scheduled to release in late 2021 for the single-motor RWD version. The dual-motor wheel and the tri-motor versions, on the other hand, are to be released in late 2020.
Currently, it is evaluated that half a million have been pre-ordered.
Tesla has not yet updated the numbers in a few months since CEO Elon Musk announced they had 250,000 preorders within a week of the revealing, but the Cybertruck reservations holders at Cybertruckownershipsckub.com have kept a tally of pre-orders, and according to their estimate, Cybertruck reservations have now reached over 500,000.
Engine, transmission, and performance
The Cybertruck comes with not only one, two, but three electric motors. While the single-motor truck has rear-wheel drive, the two- and three- motor models have all-wheel drive. Tesla claims that it will go from zero to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds and top out at 110 mph. The double engine Cybertruck will supposedly reach 60 mph in simply 4.5 ticks and have a maximum velocity of 120 mph. Those who are searching for the ultimate performance will definitely appreciate the three-motor model, which Tesla says will basically teleport from zero to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds! With a maximum velocity of 130 mph. All Cybertrucks have adjustable air suspension that can be raised or lowered and provides up to 16 inches of ground clearance. Add that to its 35-degree approach and 28-degree departure angles and the tesla pickup could easily prove to be a formidable off-road machine.
Interesting features of the Cybertruck
The Cybertruck is loaded with technology that the vehicle is practically a mystery box of hidden features. Combine this with the fact that the unveiling of the vehicle did not go as planned, as well as the CEO Elon Musk pretty much rushed through the Truck’s presentation following the Armor Glass demo, and many other Cybertruck’s notably cool features remained unsaid.
Fortunately, however, these hidden features have been spotted by the Tesla community, thanks to Photographs and videos of the vehicle taken during the unveiling event. Here is a couple of them:
INTERIOR LIGHTING STRIPS FOR CAR SEATS
Despite its futuristic exterior, the interior of the Tesla Cybertruck is actually very comfortable and welcoming. When entering the vehicle, the passengers are greeted by a cavernous interior and a giant glass roof that would make for a really good treat for those who love camping in their vehicle. The rear seats are also fitted with lighting strips on each side, providing illumination for passengers at the back. The lights are white as well, which gives the advanced futuristic, Tron– like style for the Cybertrucks exterior.
REAR ARMREST, WHICH PASSES THROUGH FOR EXTRA-LONG CARGO
The Tesla Cybertruck has a large center armrest at the back which looks to double as support for extra-long cargo. The Cybertruck is also already equipped with a 6.5-foot bed, which is pretty generous, yet for the individuals who wish to haul considerably a lengthier cargo, the middle armrest can fold down and act as a pass-through for items that extend 6.5 feet.
